Role Responsibilities:

Aptagrim is looking for a Delivery Data Scientist Manager with a mix of hands on experience in delivering solutions to our customers on Cloud and On-premise. The ideal candidate will have had success in highly competitive and complex situations while demonstrating strong business value and strategic business acumen.
 
As part of the Data & AI Delivery Data Science team, you will lead a team of 7-10 Delivery Data Scientists who are engaged with customers across a region or geography. You will be responsible for coaching the team to generate business insight by leveraging Deep Learning, Machine learning and Advanced Statistical Modeling to deliver measurable impact on the business performance for customers.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and deploying deep learning systems
• Analyzing deep learning architectures and defining architecture strategy
• Deploying models to production
• Managing available resources such as hardware & data
• Exploring and visualizing data

Running ML/DL tests and experiments
• Defining validation strategies
• Defining relevant metrics
• Defining data augmentation pipelines
• Defining preprocessing strategies

Implementing appropriate DL algorithms
• Training models and tuning their hyperparameters
• Analyzing the errors of the model 
• Debugging neural networks

Experience translating stated business needs into problem statements, prototypes, and minimum viable products
Studying and reproducing DL prototypes/research papers
Keeping abreast of developments in the field

Required Skills:

• Provide technical and thought leadership to the team
• Working knowledge of Deep Learning Architectures/Convolutional Neural Networks 
• Working knowledge of Supervised Learning, Adversarial Learning 
• Working knowledge of Image Processing and Computer Vision algorithms
• Excellent Python & R language coding skills
• Working Knowledge with deep learning frameworks (like Tensorflow or PyTorch) 
• Working Knowledge with GPU/CUDA programming
• Deep knowledge of Mathematics, Probability, Statistics and Algorithms
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences

Good to have:

• Demonstrate previous experience/references in developing data science solutions at scale for production systems
